Spring Semester: March 23-27, 2020

Or you can download the Busy Persons Journal any time and make an appointment to see a spiritual director if you wish by contacting Fr David or Deacon Frank.

Time: Your time!

Each semester the Busy Person’s Retreat (BPR) takes place on campus and it’s for exactly who it sounds like--busy people like you and me!

BPR occurs over the course of five days on campus.  What makes BPR unique is that the retreat schedule depends on  your schedule.  Each retreatant commits 30 minutes of personal prayer (we'll give you a guide to follow) and 30 minutes meeting with a spiritual director at least twice during the five days. It’s a great way to learn to pray within your busy lives. A spiritual director is someone who listens to your faith story and someone who guides you through reflection and prayer.

What do you need to know about the BPR?  You need to know:

  • BPR is completely FREE!
  • BPR is open to everyone on campus!
  • All the retreatants and spiritual directors will meet together on the Sunday at 7:00 pm in Blue and Gold Room on the ground floor of the Campus Center for Mass and to finalize schedules. We can arrange your schedules if you're unable to be there.
  • Monday-Thursday you'll meet with a SD for 30 minutes every couple of days and commit to 30 minutes of prayer on your own daily. Your meeting times will be based on your schedule!
  • We will close out BPR on the Thursday evening  with Mass at the Newman House at 5:00 pm, followed by Pasta NIght!
