For Catholics, the Mass, and specifically the Eucharist, is the "source and summit" of our life of faith in Christ. Here we participate in Christ's eternal self-offering of love to the Father. This involves the entire "Mystical Body" of Christ, the Church, which is expressed in a variety of liturgical ministries. Ministry is a vital aspect of our community, and liturgical ministers, in particular, provide an invaluable service to God and the community.
